Strawberry Cake Recipe (Boxed Cake Style) by Edible Art Supply 

1 - Duncan Hines White Cake Mix

1- 3 oz package of strawberry instant jello mix

4 eggs

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup milk

1 cup of sweetened frozen strawberries, thawed and divided

I mix the White Cake Mix with the strawberry instant jello mix first, then add the wet ingredients, followed by the eggs one at a time.  Finally, the strawberries should be folded in last. 

Bake according to your standard instructions for the pan used.  I generally bake at 350 for 40 - 45 minutes.  

You can substitute the frozen strawberries with Strawberry Emulsion which I purchase from Pre-Jel America).  This is a new addition that I've already tried once and really liked the results.  Less milk is used because of once the strawberries are thawed they create enough liquid for the cake itself.
